Whilst the detailed development of any document will depend on the nature
of the document and the product or service it describes, a typical document
development cycle will be as shown below.

Requirements Meeting - at this meeting Ipsitech and the customer would discuss
the product or service, and determine the customer's documentation needs;
that is, determine the format and general content of the documents required. |

Planning/Synopsis - Ipsitech would plan out the proposed development of the
document required. In most cases, we would produce a proposed synopsis
for the document, for customer review and approval. |

Customer review of synopsis/development plan. |

Information gathering and production and issue of First Draft, based on reviewed
and approved synopsis/development plan |

Customer review of First Draft and issue of comments. |

Rework to incorporate comments and issue Second Draft. |

Customer review of Second Draft and issue of comments. |

Depending on the complexity of the document and the nature/extent of changes
required, phases 6 and 7 may be repeated a further one or more times, to
produce a Third - and perhaps, subsequent - Drafts. |

Rework to incorporate comments and issue Final Draft. |

Customer review of Final Draft and approval sign-off. |

Issue of masters - Project completion. |
